Kelvy Bird

Kelvy Bird has been working in the field of Organizational Learning since 1995, with a focus on collaboration, innovation, leadership, and collective intelligence. Her graphic facilitation supports groups by translating their content and dynamics into visual, tangible formats that can aid with decision-making and reflection.

Since 1999, Kelvy has developed reference guides, visual documentations, and other materials for Dialogos. Of special note in that time is having worked with the core team and integrated the course collateral behind BP's Helios award-winning program “First Level Leaders." This initiative taught levels of self, team, and project awareness to ~10,000 leaders across all business streams, across 6 continents, over a two-year period.

Entering this field as a knowledgeworker within the context of MG Taylor DesignShops, Kelvy served as a graphic scribe, production coordinator, and environment planner, contributing to the initial prototype and realization of what has become a global network of Accelerated Solutions Environments (ASE) for Capgemini.

An artist by training, Kelvy received her BFA in painting and BA in Art History from Cornell University. She has traveled extensively in Italy, having lived for a year each in Rome and Palermo. Her current residence is Malden, MA, with a nearby studio in Somerville, where she steadily volunteers to bring art into public domains.
