Beth Farb

Beth Farb, as consultant, educator, and coach, has worked with corporations, not-for-profit organizations, and public school systems across the United States and Cuba. The core of her work experience with organizations, public and private, has been to develop people’s ability to perform during evolutionary transitions such as mergers and acquisitions, technological innovations, board restructuring and development.

Her list of clients includes American Express, Applied Materials, Brookline Public Schools, Calvin Klein, Hewlett-Packard, The Henry Mancini Institute,The Los Angeles Free Clinic, Los Angeles Unified School District, The New York Times Publishing Group, RAND Institute For Civil Justice, Santa Monica Museum of Art, Scripps Health, Turner Broadcasting, Wendy's International and Xerox Corporation.

In addition to the work on large system changes, Beth has consulted on identity development for firms such as Turner Broadcasting to develop the company's first strategic communication plan to integrate diverse entertainment products.

Currently, she is participating in the design and implementation of a leadership development program for the Mar Vista Family Center in Los Angeles. This program will eventually serve as a national model for parent participation in primary school education.

Beth earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Massachusetts Five College Program and a Master of Arts in the Philosophy of Education from Antioch University. Her work for Viacom and the Brookline Public Schools won a number of awards. She co-authored a book on visual learning for Polaroid Corporation.
