Faculty

LCI core faculty and guest speakers offer a unique blend of practical and research experience. Faculty and coaches for the 2008-09 Program include:

Dr. William Isaacs, founder of Dialogos, Lecturer and Director of the MIT Dialogue Project, and author of Dialogue: The Art of Thinking Together. For the past 16 years, Bill has consulted to major organizations in the fields of organizational learning and dialogue.

Glennifer Gillespie, a teacher, coach and consultant who currently focuses much of her energy on the design and implementation of mentoring programs for young women leaders, funded by the Fetzer Institute, in both South Africa and the U.S.A. She co-leads the Leadership for Collective Learning and Action course for cross-organizational learning which is run annually in Cape Town.

Skip Griffin has a significant background in civil rights, community organizing, and community education initiatives; he served as a strategist and media relations adviser for the Ten Point Coalition. He holds a Masters of Education in Organizational and Social Policy at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.

Peri Chickering has served as a professional mountaineer, wilderness guide, and experiential educator around the world. During times of profound national transformation she has developed multi-cultural leadership programs in the former Soviet Union and in South Africa. Peri has taught Nonprofit Management at Regis University, and holds a Masters and Ph.D. from the Fielding Institute.
